RENTAL CONDITIONS FOR “THIJSEN RENTAL” SNOW CHAINS

Snow chains are rented at a daily rental rate multiplied by the number of rented nights, plus a deposit.

Each rental period has a minimum duration of 4 days.

The total rental price plus the deposit is equal to the new purchase price of the snow chains. If the snow chains have not been used and are returned clean, the deposit will be refunded in full. If the packaging or seal is damaged or opened, if the packaging is so dirty that it can no longer be rented out, or if the snow chains are not returned due to theft or for any other reason, the renter is obliged to purchase the snow chains at the new purchase price minus the rental price. This amount will be deducted from the deposit by Thijsen Rental.

The rental of the snow chains may be cancelled free of charge up to 1 month before the start of the rental period, in which case the rental price and deposit will be refunded to the customer in full. From 1 month before the start of the rental period until the start of the rental period, in the event of cancellation by the customer for any reason, the customer will receive a voucher for the amount of the rental price, which may be used at Thijsen Autoparts and not only at Thijsen Rental. Only the deposit will be refunded in full.

Before using the snow chains, the renter must read the vehicle instruction manual. Some vehicles require single-sided snow chains. This responsibility lies entirely with the renter. As the rental provider, Thijsen Rental only supplies the size and type of snow chains requested by the renter.
